I’m a visual artist and tattoo artist inspired by flora and fauna, the interconnections of the natural world, and the ecological uncertainties shaping our shared future. My work grows from close observation and a quiet attentiveness to the environments we move through, both natural and built, and to the stories people carry with them.
I’m a second-generation Filipino American and grew up in San José, California before relocating to Gresham, Oregon at a young age. I later graduated from the Pacific Northwest College of Art, where my interest in image-making expanded across drawing, painting, and object-based work. After working as a gallerist, I eventually transitioned into tattooing full time, continuing to deepen my relationship with the landscapes and ecosystems that surround me.
Tattooing holds a distinct place within my practice. While I work across many mediums, tattooing is uniquely collaborative and centered on the client. Each piece begins with conversation and listening, translating personal ideas and experiences into imagery through my own artistic lens. I approach tattooing with care, intention, and respect for the process, honoring both the body and the trust involved in creating something permanent.
Alongside tattooing, I maintain a artistic practice informed by my experience as an observer — paying close attention to birds, plants, and the quiet rhythms that persist at the edges of an increasingly urban environment. These themes move fluidly between mediums allowing ideas to shift and evolve while remaining grounded in the same visual language.
I live with my wife, children, and our terrier, Copper, in a home filled with artwork, natural curiosities, and the ongoing process of making.
